Structure and areas of activity

The NGO “Diia in Ukraine” works to develop civil society, strengthen civic responsibility, and build an active volunteer community. The organization’s core mission is to promote transparency in public administration, support socially important initiatives, and protect human rights and freedoms.

The organization operates in social, humanitarian, educational, and informational fields. One of its key objectives is civic oversight of the use of public funds by state and local authorities, as well as promoting free public access to important information. Special attention is given to supporting anti-corruption initiatives, conducting journalistic investigations, and highlighting pressing social issues in the media.

During wartime, the organization’s activities have expanded significantly in the humanitarian direction. NGO “Diia in Ukraine” supports internally displaced persons, elderly people, persons with disabilities, critically ill individuals, and Ukrainian military personnel. The organization implements psychological support programs for children and adults, provides humanitarian aid packages, supports medical institutions with equipment and supplies, and takes part in the reconstruction of damaged housing. An important part of its work is supporting service members and their families, including tactical medicine training and psychological rehabilitation.

The organization also conducts educational and training activities, including workshops, seminars, conferences, round tables, sociological research, and awareness campaigns. It cooperates with civic activists, local communities, veteran organizations, and other civil society institutions to implement joint initiatives and support community development.

The organization’s structure includes the General Assembly of Members, the Board, and the Head of the Organization, ensuring effective governance and coordination of activities. The team consists of staff members and active volunteers who jointly implement socially important projects and humanitarian initiatives.
