During the difficult winter period of 2026, as Ukraine once again faced the consequences of massive Russian attacks on its energy infrastructure, the NGO “Diia in Ukraine,” together with Lithuanian partners, delivered humanitarian aid to a kindergarten in the form of a high-capacity generator.
During prolonged blackouts, cold weather, and power outages, the generator became vital support for the institution, ensuring heating, lighting, and basic conditions for children and staff. This assistance was especially important during severe frosts, when thousands of Ukrainian families were left without stable access to electricity due to deliberate attacks on civilian infrastructure.
The delivery of this equipment became an example of international solidarity and cooperation between Ukrainian and Lithuanian volunteers, who continue to support Ukrainian communities in the most difficult times. The NGO “Diia in Ukraine” continues to implement humanitarian initiatives aimed at helping children, medical and educational institutions, and people affected by the war.
